Blue Whale Press was started by a pair of avid readers. Around our house, not a day goes by without someone reading. Our daughter had her first library card by the time she was three. Her daughter recently received hers at two and a half.

As grandparents, we were fortunate to rediscover the delight of children's books by cuddling up and reading with our granddaughter. Sure, we like a good biography or thriller as much as the next person, but children's books are special; they not only help kids learn, but they excite the imagination to where anything is possible. And, they provide the first step toward a lifetime of reading. 

But most importantly, they create memorable moments, moments that nurture relationships. Sharing the joy of reading with the children in our family has created bonds that are lasting lifetimes.

We know that choosing a book for your child is an important decision. Because of this, our pledge is to print only the highest-quality books with stories that we believe will add value to your child's life and help create another generation of book lovers.
